New at the Library:  Tag Reader Kits

Now available at the Library - we have put together some Tag Reader Kits - The Tag Readers are made by Leapfrog. We have purchase Tag Readers and books and put them together in cases. These kits can be checked out for a week at a time. As children explore books with the Tag reader, stories spring to life with exciting sound effects, beloved character voices and fun activities. The Tag reader helps with letter recognition, letter sounds, reading and more.

These kits were purchased with memorial money given in memory of Jared Halifax.

 Summer Reading 2013 - Dig into Reading!

 Planning is underway for a great program this year.  Registration will start the week of June 10th.  We will have a couple of craft activities that we will ask you to register for in advance and some free movies.  There will be a special Dinosaurs to Reptiles program on Wed. June 26th at 5:00pm.  This program will feature hands on activities for the kids and include live reptiles and dinosaur fossils!  The closing party will be on Tuesday, July 30th from 12:30-2:00pm and will include lunch.
